*********************************************************
This is my first Friday Shootout….I am so excited! Today’s subject was Random stuff so here goes. I have chosen Camping fun as my subject. (*Note I have literally thousand’s of camping pictures so these may be different camp grounds, equipment, and times of year.)
********************************************************
1. Find someone responsible to watch your fur baby. She is saying Come back Mommy and Daddy!
2. Finding a campground always helps.
3. Scope out a good site!
4. It is always good to get a little smoke going when you first arrive to clear out the bugs
5. It is set up time, I always bring a rake as I am anal and hate a messy campsite. Then start setting up all of your gear. Make it like your outside home especially if you will be there all week!
Our old tent
Our new tent it is huge but a pain to set up this one requires it to be staked in the ground…yuck.
Have to have your hammock for looking up at the trees and afternoon naps!
My Camp kitchen from Cabela’s so you can have all the comforts of home!
Bed is all made!
It is hot bring your pool so you can dive right in.
Now this is what I call a campsite!
6. okay now it is time for FIRE…. If you have to make your own pit go into the woods for stones. Only cut up dead tree’s never live ones! It’s good to throw so tikki oil when you start your fire as it keeps away the bugs.
Be sure you have your camping outfits on because you are going to get sweaty and dirty!
It is always good to T-pee you logs it makes a super hot fire that will last even in the rain.
Dance around the fire and thank the fire gods.
7. Now after all this work it is time to have fun and relax, have some food enjoy your friends and nature.
Always have a clean area to prepare your food
Marinate it ziploc bags in the cooler
Always bring your cast irons skillet and cooking spray
Oh most important do not forget to bring your chef!
Have people around to help you figure out complicated equipment like oil lanterns.
good thing they figured that out!
Oh you may want to always have a hose on hand if your man likes to make MAN sized fires
you find cool stuff in the woods
Enjoy your family
You are not a camper if you cant fire sit (you have to ask me about this one)
This is my Robin Hood he has a dead on shot
see below
Try to get along with everyone
walk in the woods
Racoons love S’mores
And that my friends is how you camp!

You hit a very soft spot in my heart with this post, Debbie and I love Camping, plus she can't cook on open fires!
And who was that masked man?
Love, love, love the camping tutorial! Heart is my fave too. I am listening to Crazy On You on your page audio. Cool!
Trying to catch up with other bloggers since I've been MIA for a while!

I loved it... a lot of fun! My favorite is the pier... that is relaxing!
We used to tent camp... then our bodies couldn't take it anymore, so we have the soft life of a travel trailer now :-)
Wow! You certainly know how to camp in style lady. I'm not sure if even the allure of a pool and those amazing thick-cut steaks would get me out there though doing the same though ;) I haven't gone camping since I was a kid and even then I was always worried about how my hair looked ha ha.
You guys were missing one very important thing in your camp. ME!!! I loved every minute of it. Fire sitting? Is it dangerous?
Great pictures. I love the idea of a portable swimming pool. Who would of thought. And why was I not also invited along with Gordon?? Huh Huh Huh?
Blessings.
