Things that make you go Awwww, and just stuff

Anybody else have one these lying mirrors that make you look fatter than you really are??

Hi Folks,
Just another boring regular work week nothing much to write about without boring you to tears. As most of you know I despise Wednesdays it is such a nothing day....it's not the beginning of the week, not the end of the week....blah. I vote we get rid of Wednesday's all together! Tonight I am off to the grocery store to get her royal Highness her special (expensive)wet kitty food and kitty treats. My dang cat refuses to eat the regular wet cat food now after once I gave her one of those stupid fancy schmancy ones that is not even 1/2 the size of regular can of cat food but costs twice the price.

(Do not ask me what this is I just thought it was funny in a creepy kind of way)

I had to drop Dave off this morning for a quick flight to North Carolina for work he will be back tomorrow. So that means it's t.v. dinner night. I swear if I was single I would be the size of a pencil because I refuse to cook for myself. I open the fridge and stare at all the frozen meats and veggies I have in stock then close it again and go uhhh I do not want to cook any of that. Lean cuisine dinner is on the menu for tonight, which of course I will be hungry again in an hour. I do not mind cooking for Dave or other people but I hate cooking for myself for some reason.....I am weird. Alrighty then I am out of here so have a good night.

(OMG too cute!!!)

Friday Shootout….subject Random

Happy Friday Everyone!

For my regular readers I joined a fun group called The Friday Shootout.  A subject is given for every Friday and all you do is put pictures/with stories if you want regarding the subject of the week.  If you would like to join you can send Gordon a message be sure to give him your name, state and blog address:  http://fridayshootouts.blogspot.com

Look at all the members on the right and you can check out there posts to get an idea on how to do it.

*********************************************************

This is my first Friday Shootout….I am so excited!  Today’s subject was Random stuff so here goes.  I have chosen Camping fun as my subject.  (*Note I have literally thousand’s of camping pictures so these may be different camp grounds, equipment, and times of year.)

********************************************************

1. Find someone  responsible to watch your fur baby.  She is saying Come back Mommy and Daddy!

2. Finding a campground always helps.

3. Scope out a good site!

4.  It is always good to get a little smoke going when you first arrive to clear out the bugs

5. It is set up time, I always bring a rake as I am anal and hate a messy campsite.  Then start setting up all of your gear.  Make it like your outside home especially if you will be there all week!

Our new tent it is huge but a pain to set up this one requires it to be staked in the ground…yuck.

Have to have your hammock for looking up at the trees and afternoon naps!

6. okay now it is time for FIRE….  If you have to make your own pit go into the woods for stones.  Only cut up dead tree’s never live ones!  It’s good to throw so tikki oil when you start your fire as it keeps away the bugs.

Are you Stressed out????…..Then you must read this.

STRESS
I am not sure exactly how it works, but this is amazingly accurate. Read the full description before looking at the picture..
The picture below has 2 identical dolphins in it. It was used in a case study on stress levels at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Look at both dolphins jumping out of the water. The dolphins are identical. A closely monitored, scientific study revealed that, in spite of the fact that the dolphins are identical, a person under stress would find differences in the two dolphins. The more differences a person finds between the dolphins, the more stress that person is experiencing. Look at the photograph and if you find more than one or two differences you may want to take a vacation. (SCROLL DOWN)

No Need to Reply,
I'll be on Vacation .

Never take life seriously

*****************************

And now some more remedies for stressful situations:

Stress Management
Just in case you are having a rough day, here is a stress management technique recommended in all the latest psychological journals. The funny thing is that it really does work AND will make you smile

1. Picture yourself lying on your belly on a warm rock that hangs out over a crystal clear stream.
2. Picture yourself with both your hands dangling in the cool running water.
3. Birds are sweetly singing in the cool mountain air.
4. No one knows your secret place.
5. You are in total seclusion from that hectic place called the world.
6. The soothing sound of a gentle water fall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.
7. The water is so crystal clear that you can easily make out the face of the person you are holding underwater.

Ok I see that smile…..Have a great day!

One more thing I guess I will have to complain about before the rules to live by.  I am so sick of hearing about Kate and Jon Gosselin is a anbody else???  I do not really care who did who wrong first or last you have 8 kids that need  full time parents.  If anybody is interested they may want to check out this article in a Russian Newspaper regarding the sad state of affairs our country is in: http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/107459-0/#

(Thanks to my Friend Deb for sharing this yesterday on Facebook)

Here is the Rules to live by :

Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.
It is the most-requested column I've ever written.
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.
Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others.
You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye.
But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie.
Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time some time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything
you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's,
we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
