It’s been highs and lows the last few days

I have been meaning to do a post these last 5 days have been busy. I had a great day Saturday I got my hair done and I am happy with it and came home in a great mood.

That was soon to end a family friend lost his fight to Cancer Saturday. We got the phone call later Saturday afternoon. Tony was a little spit fire with not a bad bone in his body. He was my Pop’s best friend and was always part of camping trips with us. We just found out about the cancer last July and I just wanted to post a few pictures of him I bet you can see the vitality and love of life in his eyes. We will miss you Tony!

Tony, Me and Pops…As you can see Tony was small in size but he had a heart as big as a lion.

This is the last picture I have of him I took last July he had just started his treatment and was sick but able to spend a few hours with us.

Cancer takes another loved one….Dave’s mom 4 years ago, and Tony 4 days ago…….Sigh I know this horrible disease has affected many people directly or indirectly.

Any way she has started a new great blog which is basically people helping other people please take a look. Currently a mom who has been laid off with a disabled husband has a daughter whose birthday this weekend she will be 8. This mom has nothing to give her daughter she is not asking for cash but maybe some toys…please just take a look :)

I guess I will just throw my last thought in for the night my Dave just landed in CA this afternoon and he calls me after not being there for more than four hours and he experienced his first 4.1 magnitude earthquake (Los Angeles area). Now I will just be on pins and needles till he gets home to me safely.

I need to say my prayers tonight and be thankful for every thing I am blessed with and to pray for family, friends and even strangers who are in pain or in need.
